Who is eligible for WaveHelp temporary health insurence?

Healthy individuals between the ages of 30 days and age 64 and 11 months, who have a temporary health insurence need.
- Dependent children through age 18 (age 24 if a full-time student* get special, lower rates if included on their parents' plan).
- Foreign residents living in the U.S. for at least one year at the time of enrollment, with proof of Alien Registration Receipt Card, Visa or other appropriate documentation.
- Persons living in Missouri (MO), Illinois (IL), California (CA), Texas (TX), Pennsylvania (PA), Florida (FL) and Indiana (IN)

Who is not eligible for WaveHelp temporary health insurence coverage:

Persons who would be declined for an Individual Medical policy.

Persons who will turn 65 or become eligible for Medicare during the benefit period – so you will need to select a coverage period that is equal to or shorter than the time remaining to Medicare eligibility.

Women who are pregnant.

Persons seeking temporary health coverage while traveling outside of the U.S.
- Persons previously declined by another carrier.
- Persons living in HI, MA, NJ, NY, VT
